iOSAT is fully FDA approved for thyroid blocking and reducing the risk of thyroid cancer in individuals at risk for inhalation or ingestion of radioiodines in the unlikely event of a nuclear reactor accident. Each package includes 14 tablets of 130 mg each, which is the standard adult dosage.The tablets are double scored to split easily and cleanly into 65 and 32.5 child doses.
